Headed to Steamboat!

Someone had their first long airplane ride last week. We made sure he was fueled up with plenty of fruit loops and milk.

And was certainly enthralled with the planes on the tarmac.

After a rough first leg to Houston (where someone screamed and kicked the seat in front of him for 90 minutes) he fell asleep on the leg from Houston to Hayden.

But not until he had a little daddy time.
But on the layover in Houston he insisted on pushing his own luggage, which wouldn't cooperate and kept meandering all over the airport.

But he sure does look cute doing it!

Once in Hayden, we rode the Storm Mountain Express to the condo, and Rman decided he needed to drive.

But I'm glad he didn't because once again, he was out.

Missing all the beautiful scenery driving by.

We arrived in once piece, to see this out our window.

We're in for a great week!

A day in the life

Well, this doesn't really cover a whole day, but def. an afternoon.

Between playing with his own toys,

And then moving on to mine...

He's one busy bee!

Being almost two is hard work!

So we get cleaned up,

loves his bath time!

Nothing like a good splish splash!

And then it's time to get cozy for bed!

Snuggle time with dad is the best!

Happy Birthday William

Yesterday was Uncle William's 24th Birthday.

We celebrated at the Bright Star Restaurant.

Patrick and Elizabeth were able to meet us from Tuscaloosa

We got to hear about the honeymoon, and of course, the doggies.

And the birthday boy got to open gifts as well.

Happy Birthday William, we love you!

I'm Going to Jackson

This weekend Chase, Raughley and I traveled to Mississippi.

And spent the weekend with Lindsay and Jon Mark.

Chase and JM hunted and Linds and I caught up.

On Saturday, we had lunch and Jon Mark's parent's house, and Miss Cindy, Lindsay's wonderful MIL, took us to their new house, a plantation home called Cameron.

It was incredible.  And that's an understatement.

This is just one shot of inside the house, where old murals have been restored on each of the walls.

Raughley certainly enjoyed himself out in the fresh air.

His favorite place was the see through shower, where we had to pry his little body out when it was time to go.

Lindsay's Sister in Law is getting married here this fall, won't it be to die for?

I can just imagine the incredible pictures they will get on that day.

Raughley loved wandering in the wilderness around the house.

Lindsay and I thought he looked like a modern day Christopher Robin, chatting to the trees and walking to his own little beat through the woods.

Hello There!

We had such a great time, and hope we can come back again soon!
