First Day of Kindergarten

Last week was Raughley's first week of Kindergarten. He started out the day before school coming in to meet his teacher and find his locker.

I can't believe how big he is and how ready for class he was!
He was thrilled about his school supplies, his name plate, and the friends at his table.

He got his picture taken,

And checked out his cool room.

Then he met his teacher, Mrs. Azar.  I think she is going to be the perfect fit for him.

She's very sweet.

We found his Owl in the hall where his art will be displayed.

Then the day of was finally here.

He was so ready, with his Alabama shirt, new dinosaur backpack, and big smile.

We walked, he his daddy and me.

We dropped him off in his room, kissed him goodbye, and then I cried the whole walk home.

My baby is grown up!

His brothers got to come pick him up after school, and we heard what a great time he had!
What a relief to hear how much fun he had!  So we celebrated with breakfast for dinner, his favorite meal!

Beach Family Photos

Some of these I took and some the beach photographer took.  My personal faves are of Ed's three boys with their knees up.  I don't know why but this cracks me up every time.  I do love having all these pictures though.  Such a treasure!

More Beach Pics

We did a little crabbing,

A lot of sleeping,

A lot of beach and gulf time,

And a lot of good old family time.

Raughley got to play ball with the big kids,

And everyone got lots of baby time in!
