Little Buds

Liam and R are becoming fast friends.

Raughley has quickly grasped that Liam is "Too little " to do a lot of the things he can do, but that given time they will be playing together.

Liam is aware of Raughley's presence too.  He responds to his voice with kicks and coos.

And sometimes cries as well!

Here is their first matching outfit that I made!  It's not great, the piping didn't turn out so well, but I think the smocking is decent, and the shorts turned out pretty nicely as well.

I'd give myself a B-.  More of these are coming if I can just make myself sit down and finish them.

Beach Friends

While Liam has a set of twin friends in Birmingham, Raughley has a set in Boca.

The Coleman's twin boys were born shortly after Raughley, and their new baby brother will be born this summer, shortly after Liam was born!  Nicole and I seem to be on the same track when it comes to babies.

These boys are so precious, and when they invited R to play on the beach with them we jumped at the chance.

R had so much fun playing with "Jakey and Lukey" and can't wait to go back to Boca to see them soon!

It's always more fun when there are two around!

These outfits again?  Yes, I took a lot of pictures this day, but there just happened to be so many great opportunities.  And here is a very rare shot of me as well!

Peek-a-boo!  Someone is sleeping through the night again- Im so grateful for you little guy.  He's 12 weeks today and time is flying.  It already feels like you've always been a part of our family Liam.

Daddy's Boy

If what they say is true, that mimicry is the highest form of flattery, then I think Chase should be feeling pretty good right about now :)

Beach Boy

I know, you probably get so sick of pictures of my boy at the beach.

But there was something so funny and charming about him plopping in these chairs, like he was just out for the count.

It's really hard to be almost three, you know?

Nothing cuter than sandy toes.  Makes me think of this needlepoint sign my grandmother has up at the beach: "Sandy toes are no no's!"

So remember to was those piggies when you come back inside the house.

But while you're outside, the sandier, the better, because that just means you played really really hard out there.

It's hard work pushing dump trucks around the sand!

And shells don't scoop themselves!

So keep up the good work- just don't forget to wash when you're done!

Chase's Birthday at the Beach

Im way behind since I took the blog private, but here are a few pics of the old guy turning 28 (gasp!) on the 10th...

I not sure who had more fun opening Chase's presents...

One of his gifts was a blow up turtle float for the pool.  Guess who picked that gift out?
Ra Ra!

We decorated his cake with sprinkles as well.

Cake and ice cream are about as fun as at gets for a 2 (almost 3!) year old.
