Big News!

Today, Chase and I discovered that Raughley has broken through THREE molars!  We were shocked, since we had no idea he was teething them.  This brings his total tooth count to eight.  He's got his four front teeth, one upper left tooth, and now three out of the four molars.  He skipped the vampire teeth, I guess we'll see those come in later.  I'm sure molar number four will be in soon as well.  This sure explains all the fussiness and you know what that has been happening over the past three weeks.  We are the proudest!

Howard and Chase fished in a tournament down here the other day, and what do you know, they caught first fish!

Usually, first fish means you win the Calcutta.  (some kind of bet)

Unfortunately, this year the calcutta was last fish... oh well.  

Good work anyhow boys!  

The Rainbow Connection

Today started out like any old day, a little sun, a little rest, and a little golf cart ride.

Black and White Beach

I've been working on using the manual function of my camera, but frankly, I cannot keep the different functions straight.  ISO, Shutter speed, Aperture-  just keep forgetting which is which.  Oh well, I will keep experimenting until I figure it out because I do not have the time to sit down and read the manual again.  

So here are the results of my experimentation.

Veggie Delight

One of my new obsessions this year has been gardening.  Well, I've gone a little crazy with the fruits and vegetable gardens. I figure I'm just testing it out this year and will see what works and what doesn't.  Isn't that the point of being a beginner?
