Hayden Pumpkin Patch

It was a day of firsts at the Hayden Great Pumpkin Patch this year.  And a day for meltdowns.

Raughley rode a pony for the first time!

What a big boy, I really thought he might panic when Chase and I weren't allowed in the ring, but he did great and thought he was a real cowboy.

Then we were joined by friends and visited the petting zoo.

Finally, Mattie and Olivia were determined to do the bouncy game.  Raughley asked if he could too.  I thought there was no way he would make it.

Even after all the waiting and anticipating, and watching other kids go, he still wanted to do it.

Meanwhile Liam and one of Jeris' boys (FORGIVE ME JERIS, I WILL BE ABLE TO TELL THEM APART ONE OF THESE DAYS!) I think this is Hayes.  What a bad friend.  Anyway, they had a ball playing and eating grass together.

Raughley got ready to go.  Dad was able to go with him for this event.

Suited up,

Blast off!

He LOVED it.  Thought he had a rocket pack on.

The fun continued on a tractor, and then a hay ride to the patch.

Everyone was starting to get tired at this point.

So we did the fasted pumpkin picking of all time and hit the road.  It was fun and Ill be more prepared next year with snacks and a stroller.

BSC Homecoming

It was so much fun to take the boys to BSC Homecoming.  I showed Ra Ra all where mommy and daddy met, went to eat, went to class, (but not the fraternity house, not yet), and then we went to the football game!  And meanwhile, Liam turned 9 months, Raughley turned 3.5 years, and Liam is pulling up...  Where did the time go?

PS, way behind on posts, there are 2 new below this one.

House Update

I know it's been a while with a house post, but things move slow in the house building world, so you haven't missed much.  Footings were poured, foundation dug out (although we didn't have to dig much thanks to the existing basement), waterproofing done, trees dug out, and pad poured.  Next up?  Framing!

Funny Surprise at the end of this Post

We went down to Wyatt's Granddaddy's farm a couple of weeks ago and had a ball fishing, hunting, and trampsing about in the woods.  Thanks to Kristin and Jodi and Pops for a great day!
