Pumpkin Patch Time!

While we've done a lot of decorating this year, we had made it to the 20th without heading to the pumpkin patch.  So instead of Old Baker Farm this year, we went back to our old standard, Murphee's.

The boys each picked out a pumpkin, and then we came home straight away to carve.

Raughley and Liam were the scoopers, while Daddy did a lot of the knife work.

I spent most of the night making sure Liam didn't climb onto the island, or eat the pumpkin goop.  Watching a 21 month old is a full time job!

Im sad to say, our pumpkins were mush on the front stoop about 4 days later, so the jack-o'-lanterns were very short lived, but it was fun while it lasted!

Fishing and Exploring

We spent some time in Boca last weekend and had the best time fishing- even me!  I loved watching Raughley get so excited over the sport of it.  He spend hours fishing out of the bait well for all the bait fish.  We did well, with snapper, grouper, and amberjack to take home and eat.  Not sure what this one was below but Chase had to fight it for a bit to get him in.

The boys got to spend some time with their beach buds, the Coleman boys, which was fun.  They are all the same ages!

The last day we went to Useppa Island, which we had never been to, and explored the trees with orchids growing out of them, the turtles that roam free, and the old Inn.  It all felt very Caribbean.

insta-September

Sweet matching grandpa PJ's

My sweet cousin pledged KD at BSC and I found myself in the house- not to old to be in the basement yet!

Loving time with my kiddos...

Raughley is super into digging for worms in the back yard, and Liam loves bubble baths and trucks.

Met precious Stevie- best baby I've ever met.

Love this silly guy!

20 week checkup, 3 pete is measuring 3 days ahead, so I have mentally changed my due date to March 1st!

Love these guys who decorate their house with mannequins every Halloween- such nuts!

Baby dog love.

A Royal Wedding

Or so it felt like.  We headed to Huntsville two weekends ago for Ben and Amanda's wedding.  It was gorgeous to the extreme.  We watched a special and intimate ceremony in a quaint chapel, followed by a lavish and multi culteral reception, complete with Southern food, big city cocktails and belly dancers! Amanda's family is Iranian by descent, so there was a plethora of middle eastern influence.  It was awesome.

Probably the best part was spending the weekend with friends.  We ate dinner at a great restaurant called Cotton Row on Friday night, and spent Saturday shopping at Bridge Street Mall.

My aunt even got to meet us for lunch at PF Changs.  I haven't eaten at PF Changs since one of our many high school dinners, and it brought back a lot of memories.

The belly dancers were awesome.  The even ate fire at one point!

You can't really tell, but here's my 18 week bump.

I was pretty proud of myself for staying up until 11:30!

It's a...

BOY!!  Three boys for this family!
Raughley was very disappointed at first that he was not getting a sister, but he soon got over it and can't wait for baby brother number 2 to arrive in early March.

Sweet baby boy we are awaiting your arrival with baited breath!
