Raughley doing what he loves best...toddling around the back yard looking for "treasures."  (Acorns, rocks, anything to get dirty with).  Thank goodness for nicer fall weather!

Moving Day

Uncle Carl has moved to Birmingham!

We arrived early to help him unpack.

No one was there yet but me, Raughley and Mem.  Where is everybody?

Carl came in and we had lots of hugs. 

"me too!"

"Who else is here?"

"How do you do Granddaddy?"

Even Aunt Claudia popped out for a visit!

Boxes were unpacked and played with, rugs unrolled, furniture moved...

Then everyone relaxed.

Shoe Shopping

So in continuing with an old family tradition, mom and I took Raughley to Sikes to try on his first pair of Keds.  The place was buzzing with toddler activity, and little man was mesmerized by it all.

That is, until he had to get his foot measured.  That silver measuring device is scary when you're one!

But it was all worth it once those shiny new shoes were on his feet.  You've never seen someone so proud, marching around like a toy soldier for the world to see.  

School Days

Someone started school today!  

Notice his new backpack and brand new Keds?  He's so proud!

He's all ready to go.

He's got on his new first day of school outfit and his sippy.

And off we go!

Flirt

Chase and I had dinner at BCC with mine and his parents, and Raughley found some girlfriends playing outside by the pool that he fell in love with.  He wanted to get out there and play so badly!  These little girls were so sweet to him though, entertaining him for ever while we ate our dinner.
