So outside of our little piece of harbor was a tiny island we called "seal island".
Because these guys hung out on it whenever the tide was low.
Here is the island, we kayaked out to it once or twice and I finally got the nerve to take my camera. Im so glad I did because out of about 400 shots, I got ONE good one. See below.
I think it was worth it. These guys were so cool, but a little freaky as they would follow you out of curiosity, popping their little heads up at random every 30 seconds or so, each time just a little bit closer to your boat.
But meanwhile, back at the ranch, these kiddos were having a little photo shoot as well.
Speaking of hard to get shots. Its so hard to get one of both boys smiling. Never mind a pic of the four of us, although Im partial to this one below...

And it's never a birthday celebration without someone crying over cake!
So home we came from Maine the next day, and what a great trip it was!
