Everyone knows you're supposed to putt sitting down!

Granddaddy Howard had one of his old putters cut down to Little Man size.

He's still working out the kinks... you know, finding his swing and all.
Sitting has become the easiest manner of creating that perfect hole in one.

Little Green Monster...

An Alien invaded our house last night!  Beware the little green monster!

????

I don't know how I feel about the new blogger templates, but it's too late now, because I can't figure out how to keep my cutest blog on the block template and not have all this weird blogger stuff laying on top of it.  The only thing that REALLY bothers me is that my header picture is off center... I cannot fix it!!!!  Any suggestions?  Or maybe you like the change...????

Seeing Double

Yesterday R had the Colemon twins over for a playdate.  Thank goodness they are fraternal, or I think he really would have thought he was seeing double!  They are 11 months, and crawling everywhere, so R had a blast playing chase around the furniture with the two of them.
Here they are trying to keep up!

They played so well together

And then discovered an end table that was easy to push around the room.
I've never thought moving furniture could be so much fun!

What cute boys they are, we had a blast!

Lazy Day's of Summer

Oh what do we do on these hot summer days?

There is always Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with a friend
Or chillaxin' in a dog bed
Golf cart rides with Dad and Big Brother
And of course, floating around the pool in a floating playpen.

Can it get any better than this?

Just some things

that I want to remember from month 14:

1. Raughley responds to lots of verbal commands- "Give mommy a kiss" "bring daddy the phone" "Where's Mickey?"

2. Speaking of Mickey, he's in love with Mickey Mouse.  We march around the room to "Who's the leader of the club..." and loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Playhouse Disney.

3. Lately he has taken to holding a piece of paper in his hand at all times, whether it be a dryer sheet, tissue, napkin or wipe.  It's like a lovey or paci in the way it is with him constantly.  Today the tissue he had went with us into the pool and disintegrated- he was so upset!

4. He loves to grab your toes and look at you to see if you giggle.  There is also a slight shoe obsession right now- he will try to put them back on your feet if you take them off.

5. Animal Crackers- a new fav.  Can't get enough of them!!!

6. If he is looking for something he holds his hands up, palms facing the ceiling and makes a squeaking noise, as if to say, "where is it?"

I love 14 months.  He's still a baby in that he needs me for so much, but yet has this toddler personality that is so unique and independent.  What a nut!

Happy Late Father's Day

Happy Day to three great Dad's!
To the best fathers
anyone could ask for!

Raughley is one lucky little boy!

Happy Father's day to you!

Big News!

Today, Chase and I discovered that Raughley has broken through THREE molars!  We were shocked, since we had no idea he was teething them.  This brings his total tooth count to eight.  He's got his four front teeth, one upper left tooth, and now three out of the four molars.  He skipped the vampire teeth, I guess we'll see those come in later.  I'm sure molar number four will be in soon as well.  This sure explains all the fussiness and you know what that has been happening over the past three weeks.  We are the proudest!

Smush

Someone does not like his life jacket.
Can you tell?
Although its fun when Daddy sits next to him.
That's better!
(Don't worry, we weren't moving- docked and secured)
