Some Vids
Below are 6 videos of little R if you need a fix. (Also see below for another post)
Like Mother Like Son
The next three show his incredible dancing skills, my fav is the head banging.
just my size ledge!
This next one is to remind me how to help a baby teeth...he was obsessed with this corn cob. We cut all the kernals off, and after he ate those he gnawed on the cob forever!
Little sick one
So the Wise family is down in Boca Grande for a hiatus... and what happens our first night here? The dreaded bug! The big D hit hard yesterday, which I deemed the side effects of four teeth gracing us with their presence, but when a fever of 103.1 appeared, I freaked. Called the mother, the MIL, the doctor, etc. What with the tylenol recall I wasn't sure what to do. The doc assured me that our target brand aceteminophen was sufficient, and after some cold compresses, medicine, and lots of rocking and snuggling, little man went to sleep. Chase and I took turns getting up to administer meds and check on the poor guy, and this morning he seems somewhat back to normal! Verdict's still out as to whether it's teething or a bug, but I guess it doesn't really matter as long as he's feeling better. The lesson learned is that babies can handle high fevers, and it's okay to see 103 on a small child, where as if I had 103 we would be really worried. We wouldn't have needed to panic until we saw 105!!! I'll post new teeth pics as soon as I can get him to smile wide enough for the camera, because we have 3 in and 1 more on the way. As for now, I'm ready to see more of this...

First Haircut
Raughley had his first haircut yesterday! Drucilla, my hairdresser, did her best to snip away his little mullet while he squirmed in the chair. I actually got to have mine cut as well, first time in months! R man ran wild through the salon while I had it washed and trimmed, so I didn't get a blowout, which was fine because he had managed to find the wall of shampoo at that point- so much more fun to play with than the bag of toys I brought with us. R's cut was free, and he got a certificate with his name on it and a lock of his baby hair in a baggy! He looked so old when she was done cutting that I almost cried... things are moving too fast around here!

Running!
This boy is running everywhere! You'd have to see it first hand to believe it, but I am chasing him through Target, through the house, in the yard, down the aisle of the supermarket, just about anywhere he manages to squirm out of my arms. Luckily at the beach we have this great yard in front of the condo where he can run back and forth to his hearts content. That is until he tried to go into some neighbors condos! Whoops! If you can picture it, these 5 pictures are taken one after the other really quickly, to show how he would take off, arms open wide like a birds. Such a nut!
