The Reception

Jennie and CT's reception was at this beautiful old home in downtown Franklin, and the party was held out in the gardens, complete with Gazebo.

We had some reenactments, a la Twilight.

And some cheesey prom pictures!

How beautiful is this garden!

The bride and groom!

A JBo reception would not be complete without some B spears dancing.  CT made her keep it to one song, and she chose Toxic, of course!

Not sure what this is about here.

Happy Wedding Jennie and CT, we love you!

Franklin Festivities

Last weekend was spent in Franklin TN for our dear friends Jennie and CT's wedding weekend.  The cool thing was, they got married in June with just family present, so this weekend ended up  being laid back as they get, with only parties and no pictures!  We had a blast.  Friday night we went to CT's parents' home for a "rehearsal dinner sans rehearsal" followed by a ghost tour in downtown Franklin.

Saturday AM was a treat, with shopping in downtown Franklin at all these cute boutiques, and lunch at a cute sandwich place that I can't remember now, of course.  What a fun way to spend the day with girlfriends.

That afternoon Suelin and I went to help Jennie get dressed, and it was so much fun to be at the early beginnings of a reception with everyone setting up and getting ready.  The party was a ball too.

More pictures to come.  I had a lesson in taking it easy however, as I stayed out too late Friday night and woke up in the middle of the night with a contraction- not fun.  So Saturday I made sure to lay down for a time during the day and that really helped me get through the party that night.  Baby is doing great, and only 11 more weeks to go!

playing in the sand

I learned in my last photo class that if you underexpose the shot just a hair, the sky will come out much richer than if you expose just right.  The foreground then becomes a little dark, but I love how the sky looks.  I could doctor these a bit, but since I don't have a lot of time right now, I don't fix any of my pictures in iphoto.  I know its stubborn of me, but I feel like I'd rather just have them on the blog than have one more thing on my to do list.

These are normal exposure, or even over exposed a bit,

A little bit better...

This one is underexposed a stop.  I love the background.

Anyway, just a little tidbit about what I am learning in class.
