First Day of Preschool

Last Tuesday was such a big day in the Wise Household.  Someone started official Preschool!  3-K Ladies and Gents.  He was so excited about it until we pulled into the parking lot. Then the nerves set in.  

Luckily his friend Joshua showed up at the perfect time and made the transition a little easier.  

I did not manage to get a smile out of him for the camera though. 

But once inside the door we found his seat, got him coloring, and he was ready for me to go.  

I think at that point I was the only sad one in the room.  

The next day was Liam's first day of MDO.  

I managed to get some smiles out of him!

Off to Work

Raughley has been asking to go to work with Pop for a while now, 

So we finally made it out to the plant to look at the dirt and ride some tractors.  

R even got to see a train!

But the tractor was the thing.  

So big, Raughley had to be hoisted up by Pop, and once up he could see around the whole plant.  

He was quite the driver.  

But after the ride he refused to pose for a picture with Pop, so we took one with Liam instead.

Family Reunion

Mom's family had an extended family reunion in Talladega two weekends ago.  We saw family from all over the country, and I know everyone had a good time catching up.  The boys and I spent some time with them as well, mostly at the lake.  

After a little swimming, a little jet ski riding, and a lot of eating, everyone headed to Talladega for some sightseeing and more food.  Below is Raughley by his Great Great Great Grandmothers house.  

 I told him it was GiGi's hosue when she was a little girl, and he told me that "no, it was his house when he was a big boy."  Interesting.

Grandmama's second cousin, can you see the family resemblance?

Uncle Robert, who won a huge ESPN award this year for his work at the School for the Deaf and the Blind.

We finally made it to Wee Flip in Vestavia a few weeks ago, and boy was Raughley in for a treat.  He absolutely loved that he could go crazy and get all that three year old energy out in a well padded arena.    A few hours of this was enough fun to last the rest of the week morning for this three year old.
