Marshall McCoy Wise
Saturday February 22 we went down to St. Vincent's to see if my water had broken, around 6:00 p.m.
It turns out, I was in early labor, and the doctor did not want to send me home. So at midnight, we started pitocin, soon after I received my epidural, and at 4:21 am, Marshall McCoy was born!
He was 7 pounds 3 ounces at birth, and 19 inches, with a 13 inch head. Brown hair, blue eyes, and sweet as he could be!
He had some fluid in his throat that had to be suctioned out, and after that he spent a little time under the heat lamp, but by 5:30 he was ready to be held by his Mama and Daddy.
The first thing we noticed was how long his little fingers were! And he loves to put them in his mouth.
After being up all night, the exhaustion was setting in, but it was still not enough to take away from this magic moment.
Marshall had a little bath, and was cleaned up and ready for company.
Look at him holler!
