What we've been up to...

Our internet has been down, which has provided me with some much needed time away from the viral world.  So with all that free time, we've been surprisingly very busy.  

Practicing some alter egos (Captain Charlie, Captain Hook, Captain Hammer Man)

Swim lessons.  Huge leap in development.  Two weeks of torture, followed by a little boy who loves to swim now!  (not to mention a mommy who is not so panicked by him in the water)

We've had some time at the lake, and before swim lessons this one would NEVER have gotten in the lake water.  He actually swam with me in the lake- floaties on of course, but swam!

Sleeping on the boat is key for the summertime.

We went to a wedding in T-town, and hung out with Mr. and Mrs. Al.  (Big that is)

 And Chase met his favorite Coach, Scott Cochran, who is very blurry in this picture, but for sure got in Chase's face and yelled at him to "FINISH!"

 Somebody in the family has been on a little diet, and is looking slim and trim. 

And we've played at Homewood Park, practicing our cowboy skills and chasing pretty girls. 

 And we celebrated Father's Day, calling each Father in the family and singing him the special Father's Day song.  Raughley then thought it wasn't fair to the grandmothers, so we altered the song and sang it to the grandmothers as well.  

So we've been busy this June, and the summer only promises to get busier and hotter.  How will we beat the heat?  Only time will tell.  

Patrick's Going Away Party

Patrick is headed to Jacksonville to work for the PGA this summer.  Mom and Dad held a going away party in his honor.  We got to spend time with his girlfriend and friends, and enjoy one of the nicer early summer nights.  We're proud of you Pman!

5 months old

I can't believe it's been five months since you were born.  It seems like you've been a part of our lives forever.  

You smile all the time, and love to be tickled under your neck. It makes you giggle and coo!  You follow big brother around with your eyes, you love him so much.  

You eat 4 bottles a day and two servings of baby food, and applesauce has become the favorite by far.  You reach for things, and can hold your bottle for a quick second.  I love watching you try to put it in your mouth.  

You've regressed a bit in your sleep patterns, getting up every 2 hours for a paci, and sometimes needing a bottle.  We're going to have to do something about this, I think ferberizing is right around the corner, along with beefing up your feedings a bit.  Mommy and Daddy can't do many more nights like this.  

But we love you anyway, and so does your big brother- he's your best friend already.  

Lake Time

We got a new boat this year and have been really enjoying spending time at the lake.  

Somebody even wears his lifejacket now!
