It seems to me that the boys both have streaks of independence in them that they show at different times. Raughley for the most part though, likes to play it close to home. Only every once in a while does he open up and take a leap, like how he made friends on the beach last week, or decided it was okay to go under in the ocean, but not in the pool.
Liam, on the other hand, seems to be full of an independent spirit. Constantly trying to get away from me and off on his own, crawling through dog doors, climbing stairs, and racing away from me at the pool. Only later will he snuggle up, lay his head on my shoulder and fall asleep.
