So, as I lay Raughley down to sleep tonight, he looks up at me and folds his hands. I can't quite figure out what he means by this, until he keeps them together for some time, looking up at me quite expectantly. Then I realize; he wants to say his prayers. So we say our prayers and as I say "Amen" he blurbles out some form of the word, and my heart fills with something: pride, happiness, love, and I kiss him goodnight and leave knowing that I have done something good and right in this world.
