Good Friday

Good Friday really lived up to its name this year.

We spent Easter in Boca Grande, with the WHOLE FAMILY!

I was one lucky girl, having all my family around me on a special day.

We did the Stations of the Cross through town that afternoon, about an hour after we pulled onto the island.

What a beautiful way to worship!

Under the banyan trees, you listen to locals and priests of all denominations retell the Good Friday story.

We all sing and follow an old wooden cross to each location as 14 readings are read aloud.

And what a beautiful sunset to top off the day.

As we watched the sun go down, we took family photos, (of course) and waited on the last remaining visitors to join us, William and Frances Ellen.  Once they arrived we truly celebrated!

And by celebrating, I mean there were Hawaiian shirts, y'all!

Does this look like the godfather or what????

Good Friday, Good Day, Good Memories!
