Liam is now one week old, and Raughley is coping with having a new little brother by playing in his pirate tent about 10 hours a day, and dragging everyone he loves in it with him.
Having had a week to adjust to a fourth human in our house, I can say Chase and I are doing pretty well.
It is amazing what you can do with very little sleep, and with back aches from having camped out in a tent for most of the day.
Liam has had plenty of visitors, which has been really nice for me to have company.
He is getting lots of much needed love and attention.
At is one week check up he weighed 6 lbs 14 oz, which is 2 oz more than he was born and 4 gained since we left St. Vincents.
He is a great eater, and a very good sleeper.
Ra Ra has been having fun playing with his baby brother, and in spite of needing his alone time in his boat
is so sweet to baby Liam whenever he has the chance. Liam is starting to look less like Raughley's baby pics and more like himself, and I think, Chase and Carl.
How funny that our baby named with Wise names looks like a Morris, and our baby with Morris names looks like a Wise. Love it.
So as of one week, Liam is trying to hold his head up,
holding his head really still when he is listening to someone, and focusing really hard on what is right in front of him.
He likes tummy time and being snuggled.
And Raughley is loving dress up and playing make believe.
And is generally trying to be the center of attention whenever possible.
Both boys have colds, so we have taken to 24 hour humidifiers, over use of saline spray, and the dreaded booger buster!

But the doctor visit allowed me to check on R's weight gain as well, and he is now 28 pounds and 35 inches!
I kind of panicked when Liam came down with a cold, but the doctor said all was well, that it was normal and as long as he doesn't run fever he is fine.
So we resumed normal life as we know it, with both chaos and calm, and lots of tissues!
