Some Christmas Randoms

These are the last of my Christmas pics I promise!  here are a few Raughley's teacher emailed me from his school party.

He's a ladies man at school, can't you tell?

I just love this picture of Chase and R-man enjoying the snow.  Such a cute bunch!

 Forgive how haggard I look.

We didn't get much snow, but mom and dad had a TON, so we went over to their house and sledded down their hill.

Mr. Vince was honored at Saginaw's Christmas party two Friday's ago, so we got to spend some time with his sweet family.

What a great pair of grandparents!

R in line for some food.

Opening a few gifts

Mr. Vince and Howard.  It was a very special day.

Home for the Holidays

I thought I would share a video Mason made.  He's pretty talented right?

An Alabama Christmas. from Mason McCulley on Vimeo.

We got to spend some more time with him and the old gang from High School yesterday at La Paz.  It was Mason's first time to meet Kent!

December the 25th

You may ask why I am posting twice a day like a crazy person, but I really want to get all our Christmas pics documented before the real party starts... the Wedding!  Four Days Y'all!
SO, while we wait... here's what happened on December the 25th!

Santa sure was good to us this year.

The house looked like it had snowed trains!

Someone was in heaven.

We spent Christmas Day in a whirlwind of activity, from our house to Chase's parents,

where the fun kept going!

The kitchen was a major hit.

Then it was on to my parents house, where the snow really picked up.

Can you believe we had a White Christmas?

It was pure magic.

We gathered for more gift giving,

And someone added to his stuffed animal collection!

The snow was starting to stick and ice over,

And we couldn't help but take a peak.

When what to our wondering eyes did appear?

Not, a sleigh and eight reindeer, but a huge OWL!

He was gorgeous, and was quite cooperative while I took some snapshots of him.

Then it was off to the races again, and back to the Wise's for a Christmas night bash.
And oh did we bash, by playing games that is.

The kinect came out and the competition was fierce!

Raughley dove in the wrapping,

And by 7:30 we were exhausted and ready to crash.

So I came home and tried out my new toy Chase gave me for Christmas... a fish eye lens.

Mostly for taking landscape shots, it works like a major wide angle lens.

It was super fun to play around with.

Gives you a chance to look at the world from a new point of view!

Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas Eve

Someone got to open a present early on Christmas Eve... drumroll for the Singing Potty!

He's so excited about learning to tee tee in the potty!  (actually I think he's most excited about the toilet paper)

Every year we spend Christmas Eve at B's House. Long ago this event was a huge party with friends and family galore, but now we enjoy a more intimate gathering of just our immediate family of 24 members.

Raughley spent the evening burning off sugar.

And loving on his B.

How sweet is that?

But then, once he'd had enough of the hugs, it was off to discover the gifts.

Especially this gem.  He sat on this most of the night.  Thank goodness it was concrete!

This is such a fun night for us, one of my favorites of the year.

Spending time with family, laughing, celebrating Dad's birthday, and eating yummy food!

Raughley got an awesome gift from John Coleman, all his old Thomas trains!

He would dump them on the floor and wallow in them, flapping his legs and arms and "swimming" in his new found toys.

At least it kept him occupied while we played Dirty Santa, even if he did make a colossal mess.

The night ended with dessert and a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday to Dad, then it was off to bed for little guy, and time to get ready for Santa's visit!!!
