Saturday AM we hit the ground running, with a Carriage Ride on Anson Street.
The steeple in the background is where we went to church on Easter Sunday.
With two kids, bags and strollers, it was complicated to get everyone around town. Check out dad wearing the diaper bag!
The donkey was fun to see while we waited in the barn for our ride to begin. It's the same animal that Raughley shouted at Palm Sunday last week "Jesus rides the donkey, I don't see Him, where is He?" Leave it to three year olds to be literal. We looked for Jesus again around this donkey.
Then it was on to pet the horses.
Raughley has a keen sense of ownership, as all the horses were "RaRa's ho-sees"
Apparently if he sees something, it belongs to him. This must be part of the self centered phase of child development (I hope).
But he does love animals, that is for sure. The highlights of the trip included every encounter with animals (And boats).
We managed a family shot. This is about how we traveled around town, someone with the baby bjorn, someone with the toddler, and someone with the bags/strollers. And we managed not to leave anything behind until the last night!
So off we went on our ride, and the reason these three are on a bench by themselves and I am by myself is that I didn't' shower Raughley insisted on sitting between "Unca Carl" and Daddy.
And if that's what will make him this happy it is worth the squeeze!
